Koei Tecmo’s Hyrule Warriors combined the fan-favorite characters from The Legend of Zelda series and with the musou/hack-and-slash gameplay of the Dynasty Warriors franchise. It was an immediate hit on the Wii U.

It’s now coming to the Nintendo Switch with every map, mission, character, and additional bit of DLC originally released for both its Wii U debut and 3DS port versions. It’s called Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, and it’s definitely the best version of the game you’ll be able to purchase.

If you ever balked at spending the extra cash for all the DLC for both prior versions, you can get it all in the same package this time around. It’s even been made portable, so you can have the bigger console experience on a system more powerful than the 3DS. This includes lots of new outfits, characters, and additional story and mission content for you to wade through.

Hyrule Warriors on its own already has a wide selection of characters and things to do, and the DLC expands it even further. If you love taking out enemies by the dozen with some pretty flashy attacks (or just roleplaying as Link, Zelda, and other familiar characters) you’ll enjoy this Switch port, as it was practically made to take with you on the go.

Look for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition this spring.
