The new Plains of Eidolon Remaster introduces a new enemy for the Tenno to fight, the mechanically monstrous Tusk Thumper.

The Plains of Eidolon Remaster arrived in Warframe just a few hours ago, and with it came a new enemy for the Tenno to fight. The Tusk Thumper is a mobile defense platform that comes in three types. The brutal looking Grineer war platforms include the standard Tusk Thumper, the Tusk Thumper Bull, and the Tusk Thumper Doma.

Tusk Thumpers can randomly spawn on the map while you are playing on the Plains of Eidolon, and provide Tenno with a tough fight. Weak points need to be exploited while fighting them, and they can unleash waves of drones.

Tusk Thumper Floof

Killing them does have a payoff, however! Reports from players show that they seem to drop the Gladiator Mod set, and if you visit Nakak in Cetus after killing one, you can get your self a very cute Tusk Thumper floof for your Orbiter.

When fighting these machines, keep in mind that their body cannot be damaged; instead, you have to focus on the weak points on the legs. I’ll work up a guide on killing them quickly as soon as I have fought a few of them. Best of luck on the new Plains of Eidolon, Tenno!
