Watch Dogs 3 releasing this year has never been that secret, as we’ve already reported about that in the past. The previous rumors claimed it is going to be set in the United Kingdom for the first time in the history of the franchise outside of the United States.
Now, there’s a rumor around that the reveal might happen as soon as this week, more precisely on May 24, 2019.
It would be a reveal similar to Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s, so before the usual window at E3 2019 where we could simply get more details and gameplay.
Based on the rumor, we learn that we’re going to be a half-Asian half-English female protagonist called Sarah.
There’s a chance that you’ll get to choose the protagonist being male or female at the beginning of the story, but the source isn’t sure about that.
Sarah is said to be working for an anti-terrorist organization branch that deals with cybersecurity, which is a topic for the series even though this time around we would be working with police forces this time around and not simple hackers.
On top of that, skateboarding and graffitis are said to be a part of the gameplay mechanics, and there’s a chance (although the source is not 100% convinced) that lethal weapons might not appear in the game.
So, this is it: I guess we’ll learn whether the leak is legit or not on May 24, when the reveal is supposed to be happening.
