Absolvement is a rogue-like RPG Roblox experience with extensive character customization and progression. One of the most important choices you’ll have to make is to pick your race, which will define your build and starting perks. In our Absolvement race tier list below, we will rank all races in the game from best to worst, and make choosing your race as easy as possible.

• S Tier: Harmonite is the most versatile and the overall best race in Absolvement. The extra potential slot and XP/Gold will help you scale up your damage the way other race’s kits simply won’t.
• A Tier: All the very good races that not only have good skills, but also versatile passives. These races are Gelidium, Feriun, Voidtouched, Katiyr, and Cragg.
• B Tier: Decent races that aren’t that OP by default, but can be with specific skill and potential choices. Those races are Aranae, Facadae, Kix’xm, Nespin, and Calvar.

In the tier list above, you can see our current ranking of all races in the Absolvement Roblox experience. Note that this ranking doesn’t take into account what Sins, Skills, Weapons, etc., you choose. Instead, it’s just a general ranking of all races based on their skills, buffs, debuffs, and general utility. More details about each race are in the section below.

S Tier – Best Races in Absolvement

Harmonite	+ The overall best race in Absolvement + An additional Potential roll basically increases your chance of rare potentials by 33% + Extra EXP and Gold will help you with progression – Doesn’t have a skill or specialized bonuses that might benefit you, depending on your build

A Tier – Very Good Races

Race	Ranking Summary
Gelidium	+ The best defensive race for melee builds in Absolvement + Disarms enemies for a while with its active skill whenever they land a melee hit on you + Debuffs enemy Walkspeed and Attack Speed whenever they attack you – Nerfs your damage and Fire/Frost resistance by a bit – Not that useful if you’re going for a more support/spellcaster build
Feriun	+ The best race for spellcasting builds in Absolvement + Has an active ability that sacrifices your HP for extra DMG + Buffs your spell damage, cooldowns, cast times, costs, etc. – Reduces your non-spell damage, making it relatively hard for solo play early on
Voidtouched	+ One of the best races active ability-wise + Has an OP active skill that prevents enemies from casting spells for 11 seconds + Buffs your Crit DMG and allows you to steal Mana when attacking/parrying – Debuffs your Max HP, Max Mana, and Mana Regeneration
Katiyr	+ Gives you increased Crit Chance and Walkspeed, while reducing Roll cooldown + Doesn’t have that many drawbacks and is a generally good race to pick up – Some other races have more specialized bonuses that are better – Takes increased damage from Water/Disease/when fighting multiple enemies
Cragg	+ Excellent mobility, damage, and utility from its active skill + Clears all CC and debuffs whenever you get stunned two times within 10s + Buffs your Max HP and DMG dealt – Nerfs your Maximum Mana and Walkspeed – The cleanse passive isn’t that useful if you don’t get stunned often

B Tier – Decent Races

Aranae	+ Has the best CC active ability out of all races + Buffs your Attack Speed, Crit Chance, and DoT damage + One of the best races for melee and DoT-oriented builds – The increased damage received and stun durations are big downsides
Facadae	+ One of the best races for supports/team play + Gives you a random/ally race passive with its active skill + Gains extra resistance the more damage you take from a certain element + Increases the duration of buffs from support skills and has extra Healing Effectiveness – The active ability is fairly RNG and not that useful most of the time – Not that good compared to most of the other races on non-support builds
Kix’xm	+ Has an ability that buffs Mana Regeneration for yourself and nearby allies + Has increased Mana Regeneration and heals based on spell Mana cost – Completely useless for non-spellcasting builds
Nespin	+ Very good enemy detection with its active skill + Double-jump will help you kite bosses and other enemies + Casting skills while dashing is especially good if your skills have long cast animations – Doesn’t provide any other kind of DPS increase – The conversion from rolls to dashes can be a nerf depending on your playstyle
Calvar	+ Deals AoE damage in melee at the cost of its Max HP with its skill + Buffs your HP and allows you to heal whenever you kill enemies – Reduced healing from items/spells means fighting bosses will be much more difficult – Doesn’t provide enough value over most other races to be worth picking

How to Unlock the Nespin Race?

To unlock the Nespin race, you’ll need to interact with the winged black statue at the back of the main lobby and take its quest. The quest requires you to collect 20 Bloody Masses, which drop from every enemy within the Blood Citadel Dungeon with a small chance. Once the quest is at 20/21, return to the statue to permanently unlock the Nespin race for character creation.

• Racial Skill: Emit a supersonic screech, highlighting enemies within 200 studs for 10 seconds and dealing 1.5 Physical Damage. • Ability to jump twice in succession every 2 seconds out of combat and every 5 seconds in combat • Dashes overwrite rolls, granting you the ability to evade while casting spells or using light attacks • IFrames from dashing are 15% shorter • Dash cooldown is 15% longer • Unable to cancel dashes
