Considering Respawn’s Apex Legends is such a big hit with its audience, it shouldn’t be a surprise the game appears to be getting some Halloween content.

This update comes from data mined details dug up by a Twitter user by the name of Shrugtal. In his notes, he reveals the Halloween season will bring some new enemies to the hit Battle Royale game. There’s also going to be new costumes with a Halloween theme and modes.

Apex Legends’ most significant addition appears to be Shadowfall. It’s a mode in which players can transform after their death, turning into Shadows. They can then start prowling upon the living, using a faster speed and “brutal” melee attacks to finish them off. Though the mode is for solo players, the last ten survivors will need to work together to survive.

What’s more, the zombies can drop onto the map, just like the survivors, and leave behind items when they explode. But be careful – they can also make their way into loot containers and attack players, along with spiders, in particular parts.

There also appears to be a reworked version of the Abandoned Night King’s Canyon stage, with gloomier visuals and darker settings. You can see this in the tweet below.

Respawn hasn’t officially announced the content just yet. But now that it’s lurking out there, it’s just a matter of time before they do.

Apex Legends is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
