If you are going for a mid-range combat then Schofield-Revolver is one of the best weapons as it has high damage per shot and accuracy.

Location: There are two options to get Schofield-Revolver. First, you can purchase Schofield-Revolver everywhere after Chapter 2. You can get it from Gunsmith by paying $84. The second option is: you will find Schofield-Revolver in a weapon case which you can access in Valentine during the backroom-robbery of the drug store.

4: Flaco’s Revolver

Location: You get Flaco’s Revolver after defeating Flaco Hernandez, pick this weapon up after defeating this guy. He is one of the Legendary Gunslingers, and you need him in The Noblest of Man, and a Woman Stranger mission.

5: Granger’s Revolver

Location: You get Granger’s Revolver after defeating Emmet Granger. Pick Granger’s Revolver after defeating Emmet Granger, one of the Legendary Gunslingers in The Noblest of Man, and a Woman Stranger mission.

6: Algernon’s Revolver

Location: You get Algernon’s Revolver as a reward for completing a side mission. You can take this side-mission in Chapter 4 from Algernon Wasp. You have to meet Algernon Wasp at the north side of Saint-Dennis – Algernon Wasp will be in the greenhouse which is in the backyard of the blue house (this blue house will be quiet big).

7: Otis Miller’s Revolver

Location: You can find Otis Miller’s revolver in the north of Cholla Springs. You will find it in a chest.

8: Calloway’s Revolver

Location: You will get just one chance to get Calloway’s revolver. Don’t forget to pick it up from your dueling partner right at the end of the Noblest of Man, and a Woman Stranger mission.

9: Micah’s Revolver

Location: You will get it after Epilogue 2. You have to make your way to the Mount Hagen, look for a frozen corpse on the Mount Hagen, Micah’s revolver will be on it – pick it up.

One of the best weapons to use in close range combat produces devastating results. Some of the best places where you can use Double-Barreled shotgun are: indoors or in restricted areas like forests. Two major drawback of it is that it lacks in the accuracy and the range department.

RDR 2 – Where To Find Rare Shotgun Locations

To get a rare shotgun in Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to kill a guy. In Chapter 2, there will be a guy with this rare shotgun in the North side of Annesburg, in a hut. Note that this guy hates strangers and the moment he spots you he will shoot at you and try to kill you. You have to kill this guy to get this rare shotgun. Once you are done killing the guy don’t forget to pick up this shotgun, as that will be your only chance to get it.

Where To Find Melee Weapon Locations In RDR 2

Here comes my favorite section of Red Dead Redemption 2 – Melee Weapons. You can check out the image below, it carries the image of all the melee weapons, their stats, and how to unlock them.

Unarmed and Hunting Knife are the two melee weapons that are available to the Arthur Morgan right from the start. Let’s take a look at a list of Melee Weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2 for which players have to either complete a certain objective or visit some place to unlock them.

1: War Hatchet

  • Location: You will be able to buy War Hatchet at some point in Chapter 5.

2: Broken Pirate Sword

  • Location: To get Broken Pirate Sword, you will have to go to a small island which is towards the South of Saint-Denis Bridge. Look for a shipwreck at this island, you will find Broken Pirate Sword.

3: Butcher Hatchet

  • Location: You will be able to buy Butcher Hatchet at some point in Chapter 5.

4: Civil War Knife

  • Location: At Fort Brennand’s basement, there is a chest. Civil War Knife will be in this chest. Fort Brennand is at the South-West side of Van Horn.

5: Double-Edged Hatchet

  • Location: There is a tree stump in the north-west side of Wallace Station. You will find Double-Edged Hatchet on this tree stump.

6: Horn Handle Knife

  • Location: Look for a dead bear in the north-west side of the Hanging-Dog-Ranch. Horn Handle Knife will be on this dead bear.

7: Hunter Throwing Hatchet

  • Location: There is a tree stump in the south side of the Window Rock. Hunter Throwing Hatchet will be on this tree stump.

8: Jaw Bone Knife

  • Location: To unlock Jaw Bone Knife in Red Dead Redemption 2, you will have to locate/find 30 Dinosaur bones.

9: Meat Cleaver

  • Location: Look for a tree stump on the south side of the Moonstone Pond. Meat Cleaver will be on this tree stump.

10: Machete

  • Location: You will be able to purchase Machete in Chapter 5, a little later in this chapter.

11: Rusty Double-Edged Hatchet

  • Location: Look for a tree stump in Annesburg, towards the north side of the coal mine. Rusty Double-Edged Hatchet will be on this tree stump.

12: Rusty Hunter Throwing Hatchet

  • Location: Look for a tree stump between Elysian Pool and O’Creagh’s Run. The stum will be near the hut. Rusty Hunter Throwing Hatchet will be on this tree stump.

13: Stone War Hatchet

14: Viking Hatchet

  • Location: There is an old grave near Beaver Hollow (north-east side). You will find Viking Hatchet in this old grave.

15: Wide Knife

  • Location: In Beryls-Dream-Mine, there is a corpse, Wide Knife is on this corpse. Beryls-Dream-Mine is towards the west side of the Mount Shann.
Where To Find The Bows In RDR 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 features just ONE BOW called “Longarm Back Bow”, and the player will unlock it very early in the game automatically. If you can’t find it in your weapon wheel, then look for it at your horse’s stash. Make use of the bow in the game if you want to take the enemies or wildlife silently.
