Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Long Way Down Trophy
You can do this achievement during Mission 4: Proxy War. At the start of the mission, grab the Kar98k Sniper Rifle. While the mission plays out, you will need to approach and secure the armory.
There are landing pads extremely close to the front of this area, and as you get near them, two helicopters will come in close. One will land on the pad, dropping off enemies. Ignore this one, and shoot out the pilot in the other one while it hovers momentarily. Once the pilot is down, the helicopter spins out of control and crashes. Now, the trophy is yours. This process makes taking out a pilot extremely easy in the game. Plus, you can see where the pilot’s head is thanks to a nearby red light making his features extremely vibrant.
