The Miyama Stag is one of the new bugs you can capture in the northern hemisphere, but it’s only available for a limited time. You want to find it quickly to make sure you have time to add it to Blathers’ collection at the museum. Alternatively, you can sell it off to Tommy and Timmy in their shop for a reasonable price if you ever find yourself in need of additional bells.

When searching for the Miyama Stag on your island, you want to look on your island’s trees. You can find it hanging there, enjoying the pleasant summer air. When approaching it, try to sneak up on it, or you might scare it aware when attempting to catch it with your net. Once you find it, bring it to Blathers so he can add it to his collection you can sell it at the Nook Shop for 1,000 bells.

The Miyama Stag is available for you to find at all times of the day, so you don’t have to worry about waking up early or staying up late to try encountering them on your island. You could quickly end up finding it when you visit another island, so you want to make sure to have your net on you at all times.

You can only catch the Miyama Stag from July to August in the northern hemisphere, and from January to February in the southern hemisphere.
