How to fix bugged or stuck intel missions in Call of Duty Warzone

Sometimes the intel is wrong.

The intel missions have become a new trend in Call of Duty‘s Season 4 for Warzone players. These missions provide small pieces of intel players must discover on the map to find objects they can interact with to learn more about the background story happening on the Warzone map, Verdansk. They continue on in Season 5, but unfortunately, so do the issues.

For those who are experiencing problems with the Old Wound intel missions not working at all, it appears to be sporadic, and on Activision’s side. Some players have had the chance to complete it, while others do not have the opportunity. You want to reach out directly to Activision on their support page to figure out what’s the problem.

There’s no straightforward method for trying to restart your progress. You can’t continually return to the intel piece and try to obtain it again, and you can’t uninstall your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game from your hardware to play with a fresh install. Multiple players have tried it on Reddit, and many continually ask what’s the best way to fix this issue. You need to contact Activision support for Call of Duty to have them straighten things out for you.

You need to visit the Activision support page for Call of Duty and choose Call of Duty: Warzone from the dropdown menu, and then pick what platform you’re experiencing the bugged intel missions on. Of the five available options for the topic of your ticket, choose Call of Duty game performance. For the final choice, your issue, you want to pick “I’m having a problem that is not listed,” and then you will have the option to speak with an Activision Agent if they are available. You may have to refresh the page a few times to find a suitable time when an Activision Agent is available to assist you.

Because you might have to wait a good chunk of time for an Activision Agent to become available, another choice is to visit the Call of Duty Warzone bug page to leave a message about the bug directly. It might not be the best solution, but by reaching out to Activision about the issue and notifying them about it could bring about a professional solution.

Outside of direct intervention by Activision, there’s no exact method to handle bugged intel missions. Luckily, not completing one week’s missions does not prevent you from participating in the next one.
