How to save your game in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX

Don't lose your progress.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is all about going into dungeons and trying to help out other Pokémon who have gotten in some sort of bind. Like most dungeon crawlers, this is pretty dangerous, and if you die in the dungeon you will lose all your gold and the items that you are carrying.

Luckily, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX has an auto-save feature, so it will automatically save your progress for you at certain points in the game. You will get an on-screen notification when the game is saving, so make sure you don’t turn the console off when that is happening.

If like us, you never really trust the auto-save to have your back, you can also manually save the game. To do so, just follow the below steps:

  • Hit the X button
  • Navigate to the “Others” option
  • Press A
  • Navigate to “Save and Go to Main Menu”
  • Press A twice

If you are about to stop playing the game, you should always use the above option to ensure that your game saves at the most recent point.
