Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is almost here. The hit action RPG has received the remaster treatment and lands on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 8.

For those of you who are planning to play on the first of those three options, you will need to know what specifications are necessary to run it. As always, there are the minimum and recommended PC requirements, and we will run the rule over both sets, so you know what’s ahead of the game’s release.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning minimum specifications

  • Operating system – Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor – Intel or AMD Dual Core CPU 2.5 GHz
  • Memory – 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics – DirectX 10 Feature Level AMD or Nvidia card with 1 GB VRAM
  • DirectX – Version 11
  • Storage space – 40 GB

If your set up has these specifications as a bare minimum, you will be able to run Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. However, you might experience some lag or a drop in framerate if there is too much happening on screen.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning recommended PC settings

  • Operating system – Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor – Intel or AMD Quad Core CPU 3 GHz
  • Memory – 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics – DirectX 10 Feature Level AMD or Nvidia card with 2 GB VRAM
  • DirectX – Version 11
  • Storage space – 40 GB

It might not look like there is much difference between these two setups, but trust us, there is. You will need more memory, a more powerful processor, and a better graphics card to play Re-Reckoning at its optimal levels.

Be sure to check your PC’s specifications before you go and buy Re-Reckoning. You don’t want to be left disappointed that your current set up can’t run it, so make this your priority before you go and purchase it.
