The Tokyo Tour has arrived in Mario Kart Tour, which means plenty of new Challenges for you to get to grips with it. In this guide, we will show you how to get a score of 6000 or higher using a Koopaling Driver.
Mario Kart Tour – How To Earn a Score of 6000 Or Higher Using A Koopaling Driver
The first thing you will need for this Challenge is the right driver. Thankfully there are plenty of Koopalings in the game, so hopefully, you have one. If not, check the Daily Selects to see if one is included in the rotation today, or fire the pipe using Rubies to see if you can get one.
The Koopaling drivers you can complete this Challenge with are:
- Iggy
- Larry
- Lemmy
- Ludwig
- Morton
- Roy
- Wendy
All the drivers have pretty different skills, so choose the one that suits you the most. I would suggest Morton if you have him, as his Giant Banana ability almost guarantees hits, allowing you to keep a scoring combo going very easily.
The next thing to take into account is what course to do the race on. Some courses are just better at keeping score combos building, which is what you will need to do to hit 6000 or higher. The very first race in the Tokyo Tour’s Rosalina Cup is very good for this. Multiple small ramps, great turns for drifting, and the coin placement make it very easy to keep a score combo building on this course.
Remember, to keep your combo streak building; you will need to do the following:
- Having a higher driver, vehicle, or glider level
- Hitting other drivers with items while playing
- Collecting coins
- Hitting a drift to get a boost
- Preforming a jump boost
- Finishing at a higher placement, such as first
You have a short period after any of the above actions before the combo will be broken, so do your best to thread all the actions together into one long combo streak. It can take a little bit of practice, but the Tokyo Blur T course is a great place to do that.
