The next standalone title in the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is all set to be a launch title on the PlayStation 5. Like many other first-party exclusives, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 as well.
Insomniac has also confirmed that you will get a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version if you buy the PlayStation 4 version. For those who are looking to pre-order the game, here are the editions that are available and the bonuses you get.
If you plan to pre-order the game, you will be getting a couple of suits, one of which is the T.RA.C.K. suit, designed by Javier Garrón, one of the artists of Miles Morales: Spider-Man comic book series. Along with that, you also get early access to the Gravity Well gadget, a device that can pull enemies together and knock them out. Here are all the pre-order bonuses you get.
- T.R.A.C.K. Suit
- Second Spidey suit – To be announced
- Gravity Well Gadget
- Extra skill points
If you pre-order the Standard Edition, you will get the base game and the pre-order bonuses mentioned above.
You can pre-order the Standard Edition from the PlayStation Store.
If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition, you will get the base game, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and the pre-order bonuses. While Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is available on the PlayStation 4 as well, there is no free upgrade path available. Even if someone owns the original Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4, they will need to buy the Ultimate Edition to be able to play Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered since it does not have a standalone release.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will also include the three chapters of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC. Just like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it will also have visual enhancements and upgrades which will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.
You can pre-order the Ultimate Edition from the PlayStation Store.
