Weapons and Gears can be crafted in Metal Gear Survive by knowing the recipe first and then crafting them through the inventory. For crafting weapons and gears you will have to gather certain items and later if you had unlocked the recipes through containers you can craft them. Weapons Recipe Location
Weapons are necessary in Metal Gear Survive. A lot of close combat can kill you instantly weapons here will help you to take down enemies from distant. You can use them on Bombers who blast while dying and kill all those who are around.
One-handed Weapons:
Crowbar:
- Location: During Chapter 06 in Ruins 01 you will have to unlock a door and go underground pathway. Look for the restroom in it and there is a container. Unlock it to get the recipe.
Rusty Machete:
- Recipe: 7x Iron, 3x Rag & 100 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 82, Durability – 225 & Weight – 0.6 KG.
Survival Machete:
- Location: During Chapter 11 you will have to look around Transporter 9. You will find a container. Look in it for the recipe.
- Recipe: 4x Steel, 3x Rag, 3x Screws & 200 KUB.
Stats: Attack – 144, Durability – 300 & Weight – 1 KG.
Shock Rod:
- Location: During Chapter 16 you have to move towards the Northwest of FOB. You will find it in a container where you will also get DD Combat Pants.
- Recipe: 1x Battery, 2x Steel, 5x Plastics, 3x Rubber & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 126, Durability – 237 & Weight – 0.5 KG.
Two-handed Weapons:
Battle Axe:
- Location: During Chapter 11 you will have to look between Wormhole Transporter 06 and 08 near minable moving singularity detected quest appears.
- Recipe: 3x Steel, 5x Iron, 5x Adhesive & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 163, Durability – 500 & Weight – 4 KG.
Bat:
- Location: During Chapter 05 look near the place where the helicopter crashed. You have to search a shack with the large container.
- Recipe: 10x Wood, 3x Rag, & 100 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 131, Durability – 400 & Weight – 0.9 KG
Thrusting Weapons:
Survival Spear:
- Location: During Chapter 07 towards the south of Wormhole Transporter 02 you will have to search for a large container in the clear zone.
- Recipe: 2x Steel, 10x Iron, 5x Screws & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 102, Durability – 500 & Weight – 3 KG
Pipe Spear:
- Recipe: 5x Iron, 2x Rag & 0 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 80, Durability – 500 & Weight – 2 KG
Bayonet Spear:
- Location: During Chapter 13 when you are in a village, you will have to look for a two-storey house near the singularity point where you will be placing the Wormhole Digger. You can find this somewhere in the south of Transporter 10.
- Recipe: 2x Chromium Steel, 5x Steel, 5x Screws & 300 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 118, Durability – 550 & Weight – 2.09 KG
Heavy Weapons:
Sledgehammer:
- Location: During Chapter 13 search in Transporter 07 base.
- Recipe: 10x Iron, 3x Rags & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 255, Durability – 393 & Weight – 6 KG
Blade Chopper:
- Recipe: 6x Titanium Alloy, 6x Steel, 8x Iron, 5x Screws & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 384, Durability – 412 & Weight – 8.7 KG
Bows Weapons:
Survival Bow:
- Location: During Chapter 04 you will have to look around Transporter 2, search for the large container near the first wormhole outpost.
- Recipe: 10x Wood, 10x Wire & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 142, Durability – 500 & Weight – 2 KG
Composite Bow:
- Recipe: 2x Steel, 10x Wood, 3x Wire, 5x Adhesive & 300 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 384, Durability – 412 & Weight – 8.7 KG
- Perks: Assault Instinct perk can increase damage while attacking creature who is not combative. You can increase the strength of this weapon by Weapon Stat Boost upgrade to Attack Level 2 and add Stability Boost that will reduce the handshaking when readying the weapon.
Firearms:
AM D114 Pistol:
- Location: During Chapter 11 in Ruins 02 you will have to cross underground hallway that leads to Ruins 02. You will find it in the first underground hallway. The weapon can be crafted at Advance Workbench.
- Recipe: 5x Steel, 10x Gears, 10x Springs, 10x Screws, 8x Iron, & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 244, Durability – 1000 & Weight – 1 KG
RASP TB-SG Shotgun:
- Location: During Chapter 02 you have to walk to the south of Wormhole Transporter 2. You will find a compound with a metal fence. There is also a vehicle around. Unlock the fence and then you will have to look for the container inside.
- Recipe: 5x Steel, 10x Gears, 10x Springs, 10x Screws, 5x Wood, & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 102, Durability – 500 & Weight – 1.2 KG
- Perks: By adding Weak Point Instinct you can get more damage by attacking enemies weak point.
WU S362SB Revolver:
- Recipe: 5x Steel, 10x Gears, 10x Springs, 10x Screws, 8x Iron, & 300 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 192, Durability – 500 & Weight – 1.1 KG
- Perks: By adding Weak Point Instinct you can get more damage by attacking enemies weak point. You can further increase weapons critical damage by Critical Boost Level 1.
AM MRS-4 Assault Rifle Shotgun:
- Location: During Chapter 13 you will have to walk on the south of Transporter 10 and look for a large village. Look near the place where you will be placing the Wormhole Digger the singularity point.
- Recipe: 10x Steel, 10x Gears, 10x Springs, 10x Screws, 8x Iron, & 200 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 167, Durability – 400 & Weight – 2.9 KG
- Perks: By adding Weak Point Instinct you can get more damage by attacking enemies weak point.
Ammo:
Heavy Arrow:
- Location: During Chapter 5 look around Transporter 02 you will find a container.
- Recipe: 3x Steel, 6x Aluminum & 10 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 100% & Weight – 0.03 KG.
Survival Arrow:
- Location: During Chapter 4 you will have to look around Transporter 02.
Flame Arrow:
- Location: During Chapter 7 when you are in clear zone, you will have to walk on the south side of Transporter 02, you will be able to find a large container where you will also find a Survival Spear.
Small Quiver:
- Location: During Chapter 9 you will have to search in Wormhole Transporter 06 base.
Small Heavy Arrow Special Quiver:
- Location: You will find in the same location where you find the above Small Quiver.
45 Caliber Standard Rounds:
- Location: During Chapter 11 you have to go towards Ruins 02 and look in the container where you found AM D114 Pistol recipe.
- Recipe: 2x Gun powder, 2x Copper, 1x Lead & 10 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 100% & Weight – 0.01 KG
12GA Standard Rounds:
- Location: During Chapter 05 look in Transporter 2 base, you have to look in a container where you will also get RASP TB-SG Shotgun.
- Recipe: 1x Gun powder, 3x Copper, 3x Lead & 10 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 100% & Weight – 0.01 KG
5.56mm Standard Rounds:
- Location: During Chapter 13 you will have to walk towards the south of Transporter 10, you will find the recipe in the same container where you will get AM MRS-4 Assault rifle.
- Recipe: 2x Gun powder, 2x Copper, 2x Lead & 10 KUB.
Stats: Attack – 100% & Weight – 0.01 KG
0.44mm Magnum Standard Rounds:
- Recipe: 2x Gun powder, 2x Copper, 2x Lead & 10 KUB.
- Stats: Attack – 100% & Weight – 0.01 KG
Explosives:
M21 D-Mine:
- Location: During Chapter 5 you will have to look around Transporter 3, you will find it in a container where you find the Bat recipe.
Strengthened Molotov Cocktail:
- Location: During Chapter 11 you will have to go towards Ruins 02 you will have to look around Transporter 3, you will find it in a container where you find the Bat recipe. You will have to find an underground hallway that will lead to the ruins, this is the same place where you will get AM D114 pistol.
Exploding Drum:
- Location: During Chapter 12 travel northwest of Wormhole Transporter 09 and look for an old ruin rooftop. You can find this probably between Wormhole Transporter 09 and 10.
Small Planted Explosives Pouch:
- Location: During Chapter 12 travel northwest of Wormhole Transporter 09, you will have to follow the road north of transporter you will reach a small base with two large containers on the road
Defensive Units:
Barbed Wire Barricade:
- Location: During Chapter 6 you have to towards Ruins 01, there you will find an underground path. You can go through that by unlocking a door, look for a restroom you will find a large container in it.
Wooden Watchtower:
- Location: During Chapter 9 you have to take Northeast of Transporter 05. You will have to climb the rocks and locate the container.
Gears Recipe Location:
Flashlight:
- Location: During Chapter 6 you will have to look for a large container in the base of Wormhole Transporter 3. Look near the gun turrets.
Chemical Light:
- Location: During Chapter 5 same in the Transporter 3 base container you will find this.
Improvised Binoculars:
- Location: During Chapter 7 when you are in clear zone, you will have to walk on the south side of Transporter 02, you will be able to find a large container where you will also find a Survival Spear.
Small Left Gadget Sling:
- Location: Same location where you will find the above gadget improvised Binoculars.
Portable Shovel:
- Location: Same location where you will find the above gadget improvised Binoculars.
Decoy:
- Location: During Chapter 10 look for a road that goes between Wormhole Transporter 06 & 07. Form Transporter 06 you will have to take an east route to reach 07, you will find a small outpost in your path with a wooden tower and a container below.
Balloon Trap:
- Location: During Chapter 13 you will have to investigate a distress signal. Talk to the staff to activate the distress signal side quest. You will find a container at the remote outpost which will give you this recipe.
