Pokémon Eggs are an important step to completing the Pokédex in Pokémon Go.

The eggs are acquired by spinning Pokéstops located around the world and can be hatched after being incubated with the in-game item, the Egg Incubator. It is then up to you to walk a certain distance to hatch the egg and find out what mystery Pokémon awaits inside.

Pokemon Go - Sinnoh Pokemon Hatch From Eggs

You can hold a maximum of nine Pokémon Eggs in your bag at one time, with each egg being split into four categories: 2km, 5km, 7km, and 10km. The longer the distance a trainer needs to walk, the rarer the Pokémon inside the egg. Certain Pokemon can also only be found in eggs, such as Pichu and Togepi, and the Sinnoh region is bound to have its own egg-exclusive Pokémon sooner or later.

The release of the Sinnoh region’s generation four Pokémon earlier today means that even more Pokémon have been added to Pokémon Eggs for you to hatch. Of course, there is a chance that you might hatch a non-Sinnoh Pokémon when you finally walk the distance required, but you might also be able to find one of the following Pokémon if RNG is on your side.

2km Eggs

  • Kricketot
  • Starly

5km Eggs

  • Piplup
  • Turtwig
  • Chimchar
  • Buneary
  • Budew

10km Eggs

This article will be updated as more Pokémon are revealed.
