Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour details for September 22, 2020

Time for a Spotlight hour in Pokémon Go.

Pokemon GO

Each week on Tuesday, Pokémon Go features a Spotlight Hour where a particular Pokémon frequently spawns throughout the region. The event happens at 6 PM and goes until 7 PM in your timezone.

For September 22, Spearow will be in the spotlight. You can expect to see a massive influx of Spearow spawning at your location over top of the original Pokémon that original show up. Additionally, any Pokémon you transfer during the Spotlight Hour event gives you twice as much XP for evolving Pokémon during the brief event.

Spearow is a Normal and Flying-type Pokémon. When you have 50 Spearow candies, you can evolve yours into a Fearow, which is also a Normal and Flying-type Pokémon. It’s weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type attacks. Fearow has a maximum CP of 1,997, an attack of 182, a defense of 133, and stamina of 163. It’s not a powerful Pokémon, but you can use one during the Flying Cup on September 24 from 6 PM to 11:59 PM. It’s a brief event but is the perfect opportunity to gain some ranks in the battle league.

Spearow does have a shiny version. You might be able to catch one during the event, but you only have an hour to capture one. Make sure to open up your Pokémon Go application at 6 PM in your timezone on September 22 to take part in it.
