Umbra Forma is a new type of Forma in Warframe. We have waited Tenno, and now our patience has been rewarded. Umbra Forma will allow you to use powerful Umbra mods that were, until now, only available to the Excalibur Umbra Warframe.

What Is Umbra Forma

Umbra Forma is a special type of Forma that will allow you to change the polarity of any slot on a Warframe, or Weapon, to the Umbra Polarity. This means you will be able to use the Umbral mods on those Warframes. Previously, Umbral mods could only be used by Excalibur Umbra in any kind of economical way, but now you will be able to use these powerful mods on a Warframe of your choosing. This means you will be able to use mods such as Umbral Intensify, Umbral Fiber, and Umbral Vitality in your builds.

Because the Umbra Forma changes the polarity, you should also be able to use the Sacrificial Pressure, and Sacrificial Steel mods on your melee weapons as well.

How To Get Umbra Forma

At the moment, the only way to get Umbra Forma is to take part in the new Nightwave system that has just been introduced to the game. In Nightwave, you perform various daily and weekly challenges to rank up through Tiers. To get the Umbra Forma, you will need to reach Tier 29. At the moment, it seems to Umbra Forma may be limited to just one per Nightwave Series, so be sure to plan your polarity changes carefully!
