What to do with Shipwreck Scrap in Lost Ark
Help a lonely robot scrap ships for some valuable rewards and a new daily quest.
Golden Wave Island, located just southwest of Arthetine, is home to an informal ship graveyard and scrapyard, with abandoned ships and their potential cargo drifting to it from the technologically-developed continent. It is popular with treasure hunters, scrap companies, and passing adventurers alike, primarily for the potential rewards earned from a few moments spent searching. One unique drop obtained from combing the island’s beaches, which happens to drop in incredibly high quantities, is Shipwreck Scrap — a material whose sole purpose to Lost Ark players is to be exchanged.
Trading in Shipyard Scrap
Due to the attention drawn to Golden Wave Island by scrappers, scrap-collecting robots litter the island, with most in various stages of disrepair. One such robot, T-82, is non-functional when the player first explores the island, yet shows some responsiveness to the player. By repairing T-82 with cannibalized parts from other disabled robots of the same type, it will spring back into action, continuing with its directive to collect Shipwreck Scrap.
Once T-82 has been repaired, players can work with it to gather and process Shipyard Scrap in a quest entitled Collecting Cargo. This one-time quest, when completed, will reward players with handfuls of Silver, engraving pouches, and other goodies.

Once completed, however, Collecting Cargo proves to be a simple proof of concept for the unlockable Una’s Task, Replacement Parts. Once per day, players can venture back to Golden Wave Island and help T-82 search for more Shipwreck Scrap, this time in exchange for Harmony, Life, and Honor Leapstones that scale with the player’s current item level.
