Your village in Tribes of Midgard will need plenty of protection if you’re going to defend the Seed of Yggdrasil against the waves of Ragnarok attempting to claim it and the incoming Jötunn who are also besieging you. Most of your defenses and upgrades are going to require wooden boards. This guide details where you can find them and how to reliably bring them back to your village.
There are two ways you can goa bout obtaining wooden boards in Tribes of Midgard. A method you’re going to discover is to find them out in the world, such as destroying wooden stakes that are blocking your way. These only yield small amounts of wooden boards, so they’re not the best method, but they’re a way for you to collect them during your more adventurous travels. The primary method will be through Eyrún, your Tinker.
Eyrún can craft wooden boards for you, but you’re going to need to upgrade her to level three, and then you’re going to need to gather up the ingredients for her in the world. Most of them can be found near the starting area by cutting down trees and collecting branches. These are all of the ingredients you’re going to need to create wooden boards in your village.

Once you have all of those, and Eyrún is level three, she’ll be able to make wooden boards for you. These are crucial ingredients to upgrade your village and build it up so you’ll be able to properly protect it from the enemies that attack at night.
