Which characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses can have a same sex relationship with the player?
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is set to release soon, bringing with it the possibility of digital romance. As we previously reported, players will be able to woo characters of the same sex. Nintendo of America also confirmed that same-sex relationships will be possible in the newest Fire Emblem title, although they hesitated to reveal too much for fear of spoilers. As a result, fans have been eager to know if their ideal wife or husband is on the list of available characters.
The Gamer reports that there are a few leaks and leads on which characters will have the option. This is by no means a complete list as more characters are bound to be revealed once the game is released.
For the Gentlemen
So far, there are rumored to be bachelors looking for a husband. We’re hoping there will be more since only three isn’t that big of a pool, especially when all of them are on a sliding scale of age.
The men are:
- Gilbert
- Alois
- Linhardt
Gilbert is on the older side while Linhardt is most certainly not. They even contrast visually with red and green hair, but I’m looking too closely.
For the Ladies
In comparison, five rumored women are glad to take a wife. Awkwardly, one does look quite young and hopefully ages up before any romance options are made available. The women are:
- Edelgard
- Sothis
- Mercedes
- Dorthea
- Rhea
Sothis is the one that will likely get you arrested if you make any advances. Luckily, many romance lines are only available after a time skip. Other than that, the list of available ladies is a fine one with at least four viable options.
Regardless of who you choose, Nintendo has made great progress in offering same-sex romance lines. It was a much-debated and criticized topic in the past, and Nintendo has learned from the fans and given them the option. Hopefully, once the game comes out, we can add more characters to this list
Fire Emblem: Three Houses releases July 26, 2019, on the Nintendo Switch.
