Marvel’s Avengers, the Marvel video game by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, boasts a talented cast of voice actors. You will be stepping into the shoes of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a four-player cooperative action game. While characters like Iron Man and Captain America have been famous on the pages of comics for a while, it is the long run of movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has brought them to the forefront of public consciousness.
As such, the game was going to need some real heavyweight talent to voice the characters, and it has certainly delivered on that front.
Nolan North – Iron Man
Nolan North will be playing as Tony Stark, the talented genius who uses the combined powers of his big brain and a lot of money to become Iron Man. North is royalty to many gamers, voice characters such as Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series, a long run as Doctor Edward Richtofen in various Call of Duty games, and Ghost in Destiny, taking over those duties from Peter Dinklage.
Troy Baker – Bruce Banner
Troy Baker is doing the voice work for Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk. Another exceptionally well-known talent, he has voice Joel in The Last of Us, Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite, the Joker in Batman Arkham Origins, and Revolver Ocelot in Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain. Baker has also done a lot of work in the world of anime, voicing characters in Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, and many more.
Laura Bailey – Black Widow
Laura Bailey is another top voice acting talent and will be providing the voice work for Black Widow. She has voiced Jaina Proudmoore in World of Warcraft, Chun-Li in the Street Fighter series, Rise Kujikawa in Persona 4, Lucina in Fire Emblem Awakening, and Serah Farron in Final Fantasy XIII. She also has voice Black Widow in previous shows and video games so is very familiar with the role.
Travis Willingham – Thor
Travis Willingham will be providing the voice work for Thor. He was the voice of Wilson Fisk in the recent Spider-Man game on PS4, Harvey Dent in Batman: The Telltale Series, Guile in the Street Fighter series, and has done work in Heroes of the Storm, Halo 5, Mad Max, and Battlefield: Hardline. Many people will also know him from his part in Critical Role, a highly regarded Dungeons and Dragons gaming series.
Jeff Schine – Captain America
Jeff Schine is voicing captain America. Schine is perhaps best known for voicing Javier Garcia in Telltale Game’s The Walking Dead: Season Three. He has also done work for Kingdom Hearts III, Just Cause 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and Command and Conquer.
Sandra Saad – Kamala Khan
Sandra Saad will be providing the voice for Kamala Khan. She has done plenty of voice work in games, working on titles like The Elder Scrolls: Blades, Fallout 76, Rage 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Nadia. Despite being relatively new to voice work in gaming, she is already making quite the impact.
