Devil May Cry 5 Releasing From March 2019
Capcom has revealed Devil May Cry V and announced the release date for Resident Evil 2 Remake at E3 2018. Two very, very big and much-anticipated news that are getting more details now that the media briefings are over.
Interestingly, we learn that both the games are coming in the first half of 2019 and more precisely in the first few months of the year. Resident Evil 2 Remake is dropping in January, while Devil May Cry V is slated for the spring.
Spring begins on March 21, so for the date, we'll have to wait for it to start at least from there.
"The Devil May Cry series consists of popular, stylish action games known for their unique characters and exhilarating movement," Capcom mentions in a press release.
"One of Capcom's major brands, the games in this series have cumulatively sold more than 16 million units since the first title was released in 2001. The latest title in the series, Devil May Cry 5, is scheduled for a Spring 2019 release."
"By leveraging its wealth of widely recognized IP, Capcom aims to further increase its corporate value with consistent releases of major titles each fiscal year," the studio adds.
"Capcom remains firmly committed to satisfying the expectations of all users by leveraging its industry-leading game development capabilities in order to create highly entertaining gameplay experiences."
So, we have both Devil May Cry V, a sequel to DMC4, and Resident Evil 2 Remake, with a new over the shoulder view and completely rebuilt graphics, dropping in early 2019.
It's quite surprising for titles that have long been missing from the gaming scene, isn't it?
