Halo 5: Guardians Split-Screen Spotted In Xbox One S All-Digital Edition Trailer

Halo 5: Guardians Split-Screen Spotted In Xbox One S All-Digital Edition Trailer

During the latest Inside Xbox, something weird and Halo-themed happened.

In particular, some eagle-eyed players have discovered that the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition reveal trailer included something they weren't anticipated.

We're talking about the offline split-screen cooperative mode you can see two gamers play on Halo 5: Guardians.

You can watch the action with your own eyes 42 seconds in the trailer. This, of course, led the community to think about an update on its way for the title, which launched in 2015.

Unfortunately, this is not the case, since the 'rumor' has been already debunked by 343 Industries' community director Brian Jarrard.

Jarrard said on Twitter that "split-screen isn’t being added to Halo 5," as "the footage in question looks to be a little bit of good old fashioned creative liberty in the editing bay."

With Halo: The Master Chief Collection being continuously updated and upgraded, it was easy to point out that something like that could be on its way for Halo 5.

However, this is not happening anytime soon, while the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is a real thing coming May 7.
