First off, the Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues will have a second-round for all players to go through them again for another round. Here are all of the dates for those leagues.

  • Great League: January 11 at 1 PM PT
  • Ultra League: January 25 at 1 PM PT
  • Ultra Premier Cup: January 25 at 1 PM PT

Once the Master League leagues finish up on February 15, all of the leagues will be available on February 15 at 1 PM PT. A new reward has become available for Battle League players, and it’s Frillish. You need to reach rank 20 to encounter it potentially.

Next is the attack update, and this one features plenty of changes for old and new favorites to Pokémon Go.

  • Shadow Bone: This Ghost-type Charged Attack will now deal less damage.

Pokémon can now learn these moves.

  • Fire-type Weather Ball: This powerful Fire-type attack will now be available to Vulpix and Ninetales originally discovered in the Kanto region.
  • Ice-type Weather Ball: This powerful Ice-type attack will now be available to Vulpix and Ninetales originally discovered in the Alola region.
  • Water-type Weather Ball: This powerful Water-type attack will now be available to Politoed.
  • Ice Punch: This powerful Ice-type attack will now be available to Primeape.

There are a few things being changed up to make the next portion of Season 6 a bit more exciting. Hopefully, this remains a trend, and players can look forward to every half of a season to make it a unique experience, and new rewards to increase the competition.
