The patch notes for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey have arrived for February
The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey monthly update has arrived, and in it, players have the chance to jump into the game’s New Game Plus mode, along with a new Lost Tales of Greece quest, cosmetic items, and gameplay features.
To access New Game Plus mode, players must first complete the entire story arc in a character’s playthrough. After, they can return to the main menu and should have the option. When players start up their new game, they can choose to go with the same character they played, or select the other to make brand new decisions. All of a player’s gear, abilities, money, and items come with them, no matter which character they pick.
The story section, A Brother’s Seduction, has players meeting a waylaid poet who asks the player’s assistance in helping two brothers deal with the recent passing of their father. To play this story mission, you must reach chapter 5 in the main game. You can play this mission right now.
There are two new item sets, the Boar Pack and the Shark Pack. Both the Boar and the Shark pack contain complete gear sets, weapons, and mount items that reflect these legendary creatures. However, the Shark Pack also comes with a naval set for you to modify your ship and crew to mirror this ferocious water predator.
From Feb. 21 to the 28th, players can enter the Photo Mode Contest for their chance to win a Spartan Collector’s Edition of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The theme for this contest is celebrating winter in Greece, so be on the lookout for snowy areas.
The update also comes with an increased level cap to 99, new fast travel points, new mercenary tiers, photo mode frames, and accessibility options.
