DICE and EA have been working on a battle royale mode for Battlefield V for quite a long while now, and it should be finally ready for launch soon.
Firestorm, this is the name of the mode, has indeed been at the center of some leaks over the last few hours.
We’ve even watched a video online, and are reporting it just below, about the tutorial for how to play this specific mode.
Most probably, the trailer/tutorial was meant to release in just a few hours, and perhaps we’ll see it through the official channels of the publisher in a matter of hours or days.
Firestorm is reportedly featuring three modes: solo, duo (2 player teams), squad (4 player teams) with a player maximum of 64 per match.
Typical Battlefield classes are included, even though the mode is set to have a separate ranking system, different from the one in the regular BF5 experience.
As in your typical battle royale game, players will parachute from a plane into the war zone and you’ll have an altimeter showing you the altitude, in order to help you choosing when to fall.
