Can’t to see more of Battlefield V tomorrow during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference? You can have a look at some new footage right now of the multiplayer mode Grand Operations, which shows off some of the maps and modes you’ll be able to get your hands on when the game drops later this year.

Each Grand Operation offes a narrative experience inspired by real historical events, and right after launch you’ll get a chance at trying out the first one introduced in the game, as more release over the following months. It’s the updated version of the regular Operations mode from Battlefield 1, with each in-game “day” is represented by a certain round played on a map and mode that make an impact on what happens on the next day. Most Grand Operations in the game will last three in-game days, or just about an hour of real-world time, or longer depending on how both teams are performing.

Grand Operations mode isn’t the only thing you’ll be able to expect out of Battlefield V, however. Familiar modes like Conquest, Breakthrough, Frontlines, Domination, and Team Deathmatch will be up for grabs should you want to just kick back and play war games with your buddies.

Today, E3 2018’s first official conference came in the form of EA Play 2018, where new footage of Battlefield V’s multiplayer modes was shown off, along with the announcement of a new Battle Royale mode for the popular shooter. The game is still confirmed for an Oct. 11 release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
