The new class, Guardian, is coming to Black Desert Online in January.
Fans of Black Desert Online now have a date for when they can play the new class, Guardian, and it is coming on Jan. 22. Players will be able to get their hands on the new class, with preregistration starting Dec. 24.
Guardian is a melee character, wielding a battle axe and hit enemies with a massive melee attack while smashing enemies with her shield. The developers announced the details about her abilities, specifically Boulder Crush and Mountain Slam. Boulder Crush is a powerful melee attack that strikes three times, and Mountain Slam is an area of effect, earthquake type of attack.
Guardian will be the 19th class for Black Desert Online, a vast MMORPG that was released way back in 2014. The game is known for its extensive character customization options and has recently added Succession skills to Musa and Maehwa, with previous updates coming to Ranger, Warrior, Tamer, and Valkyrie.
While not reaching the levels of games of the same genre, such as WoW, the game has maintained a robust player base and a steady stream of content updates and patches.
Black Desert Online is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. A mobile version entitled Black Desert Mobile is also available on Android and iOS.
