Blood and Truth has indeed debuted at the first spot in the UK chart, which has never happened to a VR game before.
Virtual reality is getting bigger and bigger as a business, as it has been shown in the latest United Kingdom physical sales chart. Blood and Truth has indeed debuted at the first spot in the UK chart, which has never happened to a VR game before.
Here’s the full chart:
- Blood & Truth
- FIFA 19
- Team Sonic Racing
- Days Gone
- Rooty Dooty Redempty Tooty
- Cricket ’19
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- GTA 5
- Forza Horizon 4
- Mortal Kombat 11
Perhaps, Blood and Truth has been helped in reaching this achievement by the lack of big releases last week, but it’s worth noting that also an acclaimed brand as Sonic, with Team Sonic Racing, has only managed to get to the third place (even though at its second week around).
On top of that, even though we’ve reached the end of the football season around Europe, FIFA 19 is never an easy beast for you to defeat, especially when you have a Champions League final to be played between two English clubs, and it ended in the second spot.
As for the game, it’s been developed by London Studio, a master in the segment, and is based around the London Heist minigame in the PlayStation VR Worlds launch collection, so you know what to expect. We’ve played through it and found it pretty good, especially if you’re into rail shooters à la Time Crisis.
