The latest card revealed from the upcoming Hearthstone expansion, The Boomsday Project, is Boommaster Flark—and at first glance, it seems like a perfect fit for the Hunter archetype.

This seven-mana legendary Hunter minion has five attack and five health, as well as a Battlecry effect that allows you to summon four 0/2 Goblin Bombs.

Each Goblin Bomb has a Deathrattle ability that deals two damage to the enemy hero—which means Boommaster Flark’s Battlecry can cause eight damage to your opponent when the Goblin Bombs are destroyed.

This also means that Boommaster Flark is another Hunter card that will help you deal damage to the enemy’s face—a common theme in the Hunter archetype.

It’s difficult to tell how good Boommaster Flark will be without seeing more Hunter cards from The Boomsday Project, but the fact that the Goblin Bombs are Mechs could lead to Hunter-Mech synergy in this expansion.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It’s set to add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. Hearthstone players can preorder The Boomsday Project, which will become available on Aug. 7.
