Treyarch has acknowledged the issue on Call of Duty Black Ops 4: Blackout and is already working on a fix in order to prevent those crashes to happen on Microsoft’s higher end platform.
The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 patch reportedly causes crashes on Xbox One X.
Treyarch has acknowledged the issue and is already working on a fix in order to prevent those crashes to happen on Microsoft’s higher end platform.
“We are aware that Xbox One X players are experiencing an intermittent freeze during late-game play in Blackout,” the studio said in a tweet.
“We are actively investigating and will deploy an update as soon as we have a resolution to the issue. We will update you once that happens.”
The 1.10 update was set to introduce multiple things to the different game’s modes, such as the Absolute Zero event which added Zero, a brand new specialist, and Black Ops 2’s Hijacked to Blackout.
Curiously enough, players have not reported of similar issues for what matters other platforms, so it’s just a problem the title’s having with Xbox One X for some reason.
We’ll let you know as soon as the issue with those crashes gets fixed, which we expect to happen in a few hours.
