The Behemoth, the developers of the Castle Crashers video game, are hinting that their very popular beat ‘em may be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Castle Crashers is a 2D scrolling, beat ‘em up game that is akin to the old school arcade games. The game is about four knights going on a quest to save several princesses from an evil wizard. The game is full of vulgar and juvenile humor, which includes showcasing bodily fluids of some animals.

The game was originally released on the Xbox 360 back in 2008. The game proved to be popular, developing its own sub-cult of fans. It has since been ported over to the PS3, Microsoft Windows, and the Xbox One.

Earlier today, The Behemoth shared an interesting image on their Twitter. It’s an image of four Switch joy-cons, each joy-con sharing the same colors as the four knights in Castle Crashers.

The image seems to suggest that Castle Crashers is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Fans have express excitement over the possibility of the game coming over to the Switch. It would be the first time that Castle Crashers will be on a Nintendo system, and it will allow fans to play the game on the go.

The Behemoth have yet to officially announce anything, nor when we can expect an announcement.
