Injustice 2 Mobile, the on-the-go adaptation of NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice 2 is a great way to experience the game on the go—it’s made surprisingly well for a mobile tie-in game.

Now, it’s welcoming an interesting new character skin to its ranks in the form of Classic Superman.

In celebration of Supes’ 80th anniversary, Injustice 2 is bringing the special skin into the game, inspired by Superman’s first ever appearance in Action Comics #1. If you haven’t been following Superman that long or just don’t know a lot about the hero, the new costume may be a bit of a shock to the system. Yes, he’s wearing red trunks. Yes, he looks like he’s ripped straight of the pages of a comic book. It’s awesome, right?

You can nab the skin during the Classic Superman-related in-game event where the character is coming to The Arena for a limited time. If you happen to encounter a battle where Classic Superman shows up, you’ll be able to defeat him for a chance at receiving Hero Shards.

Injustice 2 continues to receive support in its various mobile iterations, with plenty of additional characters up for grabs once you’ve conquered what comes with the game by default.

With Season 2 of the Injustice 2 Pro Series just announced a few days ago, the game has proven itself a mainstay among fighting game enthusiasts, and for good reason. A variety of characters, varied moves and specials, and addictive gameplay have made it a much more formidable title than its predecessor.

Haven’t tried it just yet? You may want to pick it up, especially if you’ve ever wanted to pit Harley Quinn against the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
