For those wondering what the Remedy Entertainment’s next game is all about, Control, there’s a new trailer highlighting the game’s story. However, prepare to be as confused as you first were when the game first got announced. The trailer offers obscure, supernatural story details that not everyone is going to completely understand until they play the game themselves and dive into the baffling world.

You can check out the new trailer below.

The game focuses on the player controlling Jesse Faden, an agent of the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) who deal with matters that question the present reality of the world. Faden comes with an array of supernatural powers, like telekinesis, levitation, and the ability to control certain enemies. Her firearm, the Service Weapon, is unique in that it can adapt to Faden’s present need, making it a different tool rather than a single firearm. Players are going to have the chance to upgrade it using a skill tree while they’re in-game.

The FBC has a large building in Manhattan called The Oldest House. It’s where they keep some of the oldest, reality-bending artifacts and keep everything in check. Control plays during a time when the items of the building go into chaos, with the largest, and most dangerous of these items releases something called The Hiss. The Hiss is an otherworldly force that acts as the game’s driving force and enemy to Faden who has to reenter the Oldest House and regain control of the bureau.

There’s plenty to look forward to with this game. There’s plenty of mind-bending, reality-altering gameplay to enjoy, and if this latest trailer is any indication, Remedy Entertainment is going to have fun in this crazy world.

Those interested can pre-order Control for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. The game launches on Aug. 27.
