CD Projekt Red fans eager for more details on Cyberpunk 2077 may want to keep a close eye on E3 2018. The game may be appearing at the expo in June, according to hints from CD Projekt President Adam Kiciński.

KiciÅ„ski hinted at CD Projekt’s potential E3 presence during a presentation on 2017’s fiscal year, in which he answered several questions about Cyberpunk 2077’s features. For one, KiciÅ„ski said he “terribly” wanted to talk about the game, but the presentation was “not the time” for doing so.

He did, however, hint that CD Projekt will announce its E3 announcement “just before” the event begins, according to CD Projekt Red’s official translation. He also hinted that the game is “very advanced” technologically speaking, and is purposefully developed so that it is “ready to interface with future generations” and can use “future, very powerful” hardware to play.

Beyond that, KiciÅ„ski opened up a bit more about Cyberpunk 2077’s features. He admitted that players can create their own characters and pick classes for their avatar, and that the game will be designed primarily as a single-player experience. He declined to comment on whether a multiplayer mode will be available down the road, but he did note that CD Projekt wants to “integrate online components” into future projects.

When asked about a battle royale multiplayer mode, KiciÅ„ski said the team is “considering everything and anything,” but wouldn’t discuss any future details. Instead, he insisted CD Projekt was primarily interested in focusing on the game’s “immense story-driven role-play for singleplayer without any micropayments what-so-ever,” just as in The Witcher 3.

Oh, and CD Projekt is focusing on hardware-intensive consoles and platforms first and foremost, so no Nintendo Switch releases are currently planned “as for now.” But KiciÅ„ski hinted that the studio will “see what the future brings.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently planned for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s still unclear when the game will be officially released, although at this rate, expect more news sooner rather than later.
