Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games out there, and every little piece of information is good for a news.
Looking at how sparse the details about the title are, it’s good to see all the things that CD Projekt RED shares with the community from time to time.
In a recent tweet, the Polish studio has indeed talked a bit deeper into companions, and the fact that multiple companions will be female.
A fan had asked about a female version of Jackie, which is not going to happen since it’s a specific character and not one that could be easily changed throughout the gameplay.
“Jackie is one of companions that will just tag along during some missions. And he is just one of the few,” said CDPR.
“To answer your question – there won’t be female version of Jackie, but for sure there will be female companions that will show up during your playthrough.”
So, just like a regular RPG, you can expect Cyberpunk 2077 to feature a lot of NPC and companions along the road, each with their peculiarities, gender included.
The game’s releasing ‘when it’s ready’, which should be in around one year to one year and six months on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
