During an interview, Norman Reedus has shared more about Death Stranding, hinting at how complicated the story of the game is.
On top of that, he also revealed that the trailers do not show the entire picture for what matters both gameplay and the concept.
“The trailers show you an aspect of it, but not a whole picture of what the game will be. That’s like a whole other thing,” Reedus said.
“It’s complicated, it’s a crazy complicated game. I’ve been learning a lot about video games doing it,” he said about the experience of being in the same studio with Hideo Kojima.
“The concept is so far out into the future. Instead of eliminating everyone around you, it’s bringing everyone together. It’s a very positive video game, but scary and depressing at the same time.”
Also, he added that Kojima “keeps telling me people will watch all these trailers, they’ll come up with these ideas and look for all these Easter eggs, and they have been doing that.”
That was quite a given and something like a mission complete for Kojima, if you consider how many people have looked deeper into those trailers, us included.
