Players were told this over and over again, but they were still waiting for something more to come at a certain point in the process.
In particular, there was a certain hope for more playable characters to release sooner or later, especially now that the Bloody Palace free update has been launched.
Anyway, despite rumors of even a cooperative mode to be added to the game, it seems nothing like that is going to happen.
“Unfortunately dev on DMC5 is finished,” said the producer in reply to a fan asking about a “Ladies’ Night” DLC.
“I’d personally like to see the ladies playable too. We can only hope that at some point we can convince the people up top that it’s worth doing.”
Walker was also asked about more Resident Evil games to be released sooner or later, and he was quite open on that topic.
“In terms of RE, I sure hope there are more titles in the works RE2 was a huge success,” he shared, and sure enough we agree.
A Resident Evil 3 Remake should be in the making, together with a new mainline game, so this desire should be fulfilled.
