Jump into the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT beta starting today

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is releasing at the end of the month, so if you haven’t seen much of the game and haven’t had a chance to try it for yourself, you can do so today. The free open beta period for the game is available as of today, so if you’ve got some free time you can jump in and see if it’s your cup of tea.

The beta will let you try both online and offline matches throughout stages culled from the main Final Fantasy games. Along with a varied roster of fighters, it will also feature special summons to bring into battle with you as well as copious amounts of character customization. You won’t get to dress Cloud in a neon jumpsuit or anything, but there’s some cool stuff to check out anyway. 

The beta will only be available during specific times, however, so you’ll need to make sure you reference this timetable before hopping on. There will be a different selection of characters you can play as during each time slot. 

• From Friday, January 12 @ 6:00 AM PST to Monday, January 15 @ 1:00 PM PT
• From Monday, January 15 @ 2:00 PM PST to Thursday, January 18 @ 1:00 PM PT
• From Thursday, January 18 @ 2:00 PM PST to Sunday, January 21 @ 1:00 PM PT
