For those using the Epic Games Store as their new game launcher, you can add two excellent games for you to grab for free, right now. Both Moonlighter and This War of Mine are available for Epic Game Store members.

Moonlighter is a rogue-lite action game that features a young hero who must explore the previously abandoned dungeons nearby a small village. While exploring the depths of the five different dungeons, the young hero obtains rare artifacts he takes back to his shop in town and sells to other NPCs.

It’s a mix between an action-adventure and economy-based shop. Players spend half of their time gathering rare items from the dungeon and then working to adjust how much they offer to them to customers in their shop. There’s plenty of inventory management, as well, but it’s done so in a creative way to make it feel like a rewarding mechanic. It spins the head on troublesome inventory management games that drag otherwise good games down.

The other free game, This War of Mine, is a widely different game in regards to the first one. You assume the role of a trio of survivors attempting to make it in a worn-torn country. You start in a house, needing to gather supplies from the surrounding abandoned, and sometimes occupied, homes. Along the way, you’re going to meet a colorful series of people who are there to aid you, steal from you, fight you, or are trying to survive as much as you are. It’s a game not for the faint of heart.

You don’t have to do much to gain access to these games. All you need to do is have an Epic account, and log into the launcher before Aug. 2. Do that, and those games are yours to keep forever.

Make sure you act fast. Those games are going to get replaced following Aug. 2. So if you’re interested in them, now is the time to grab them and make them a part of your collection.
