Bethesda Game Studios has acknowledged it’s issuing bans for players who find Fallout 76 developer room and retain the stuff in it.
The studio has shared a quick statement about the topic on its Polish Facebook page, as translated by the guys over Eurogamer.
“We are looking into accounts where players have obtained items by accessing areas of the game that are not intended for the public,” Bethesda wrote.
“These areas are only accessible to PC players that are using 3rd party applications to get into these areas…
In an effort to ensure the integrity of these characters and accounts, these accounts are being temporarily disabled pending further investigation.”
Fallout 76 developer room is the sole place where you’ll find an NPC, who’s been used in order to test weapons and items.
On top of that, the dev room also includes many high end weapons and items you’re not supposed to obtain until a proper update comes in with them.
Hopefully, a fix is inbound in order to prevent people from entering the area and claiming all those items before it’s too late.
