If you recall during Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition’s launch, Square Enix announced a special limited time Half-Life pack that players could download and enjoy alongside the PC release.
Yesterday was the final day that anyone was supposed to be able to pick up the DLC, which includes a Gordon Freeman HEV suit, crowbar, and glasses that you can use to dress up protagonist Noctis with. It actually suits him quite well!
Now, Square Enix has confirmed that the previously limited-time only Half-Life pack will be up for grabs on Steam indefinitely as a free download for anyone who purchases the PC version. That’s great news, especially since the costume and its accessories were well-received by the gaming community.Â
Final Fantasy XV made a big splash on PC when it made its debut on March 6. It’s offered another avenue for players to access one of the best RPGs of 2017, as well as one of the most sprawling Final Fantasy adventures yet.
It’s also the best-looking iteration of the game by far just yet, if that’s something you’re concerned with. It’s certainly a divisive game, with some folks loving the all-male character road trip across Eos and others decrying it for the same reason (or hating Cindy for no reason).Â
But don’t sit on this DLC if you’re interested in snapping it up. Sometimes, things have a habit of disappearing when it comes to online goodies like these, so if you want to re-enact Half-Life in Final Fantasy XV, better jump on this free add-on while it’s still there.Â
