Rebellion has been rather busy over the last few months and we finally know what it’s cooking. As you might’ve expected, that’s involving Sniper Elite.
The British studio has indeed announced that there are four new Sniper Elite games in the making, including the first one ever released on Nintendo Switch.
First of all, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, a remaster of the 2012 stealth shooter, is coming in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
The game will be featuring enhanced visuals, 4K resolution and HDR, new playable characters, a photo mode and multiplayer extended to 16 players.
Second, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is also coming on Nintendo Switch later over the course of 2019. It features a new local wireless multiplayer mode and motion controls.
Third, a new standalone Sniper Elite game for VR devices is set to be revealed later this year, and it’s in the works in cooperation with Just Add Water (Oddworld).
Finally, a new major Sniper Elite game is in the making and is set to be revealed in 2020. It’s a follow up to Sniper Elite 4 and there’s a chance it could be next-gen or at least cross-gen looking at the timing.
