The figures will start shipping from August 2018.
Giovanni is the first villain from the series to be made into a Nendoroid figure. He made his debut in the Pokémon Red and Blue games for GameBoy in the 1990s and more recently appeared in the Nintendo 3DS titles on Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon as a post-game boss.
Mewtwo is a surprise inclusion, however. Mewtwo was one of Giovanni’s Pokémon in the Pokémon anime show and was the star of the first ever Pokémon movie back in the 1990’s.
Alongside the figures, the Good Smile Company are offering bonus parts for those who preorder on the Good Smile Online Store. These include a Rainbow Rocket base and Beast Ball, both of which made their debut in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon. Giovanni also gets a Rainbow Rocket badge for his suit.
