As we get closer and closer to Google Stadia’s release, planned for November, we get more details about the platform and the way its launch will work. Google is doing its best in order to let people have all the information they need, through Stadia Connect events and Reddit AMA which we’ve shared about a few weeks ago.
As we get closer to Google Stadia’s planned release for November, we get more details about the platform and the way it will work. Google is doing its best to let people have all the information they need, through Stadia Connect events and Reddit AMA, which we shared about a few weeks ago.
A new Stadia Connect is scheduled for this summer on Aug. 19, at 7 PM CET. The event broadcasts live on YouTube, much like a Nintendo Direct video.
At the time being, we don’t have a precise release date for the Founder’s Pack. We do know it’s going to launch sometime this November. It’s going to be an early access program before the system’s full release in 2020 with a Stadia Base plan. The basic plan is going to be available for those who want to enter the Stadia store and buy games to stream.
Stadia Connect #2 is said to be “bigger than ever,” as “this time around, it’s all about the games! From revealing brand-new titles to going behind-the-scenes with our partners, we can’t wait to show what Stadia has in store for you.”
We can expect more new game announcements during the broadcast, and Google is going to be among the publishers and platform owners at Gamescom Opening Night Live, live from Koln, Germany. It’s going to happen one hour later, at 8 pm CET. Sure enough, it’ll be a busy night for Google and fans of gaming.
Let’s do it again. On 8/19, #StadiaConnect is back and bigger than ever. Tune in at 10AM PDT / 7PM CEST for all the details – then come get hands-on with the future of gaming for yourself at our #Gamescom booth! https://t.co/dKmKakQeQp pic.twitter.com/H0ILSxki8r
