The Guilty Gear series returns soon with a vengeance. A trailer for the latest chapter in the franchise debuted at EVO last month. But now Arc System Works has something new for fans – a trailer that introduces three new characters to the fold!

In the trailer, which is below, May is the new playable character in the series, bringing her robust energy to the table. Also, there’s some footage of Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske in action.

Along with cinematic introductions, the footage also includes gameplay, with the characters chaining together some amazing-looking combos. Sol Badguy, for example, makes short work of his opponent with his kicks and uppercuts.

Then Ky Kiske gets a turn, moving in with low strikes with his sword before showing off a handful of athletic maneuvers. We also see a sick-looking flip kick that would make Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter blush.

Unfortunately, May’s gameplay did not get featured in the trailer. However, Arc System Works confirmed a new trailer, which should feature her in action, would debut later this month. The company will premiere it at CEOtaku 2019 in Orlando, Florida, which starts on Sept. 27.

The developer also confirmed fans would be able to get first hands-on with the game on Nov. 16 and 17 at the UC Irvine Student Center in California. It’ll get featured at the ArcRevo World Tour Final 2019.

Between those two stops, more of the roster will likely get revealed, so get excited, fans.

Guilty Gear is set to release sometime in 2020 for the PlayStation 4.
