Halo: MCC, Halo Reach Massive Development Update Coming This Week

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, or Halo MCC, is prepping up for a brand new, and massive, development update to pop up on the official series blog Halo Waypoint. The news has been revealed by the team at 343 Industries over the last few hours.

As you might remember, the first flight for the PC version of the compilation was expected to drop as early as April, but that was delayed because of technical issues that the development team wasn’t able to overcome in time.

Now, it looks like more details about the first flight and the content of that version are about to be dropped, both in that blog post which should arrive on Friday at the latest and a special social stream on Halo channel on Mixer tomorrow.

Both the appointments will focus on Halo MCC for the PC gamers and Halo Reach as it is coming into The Master Chief Collection, something users are expecting on Xbox One as well (free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, while single-player will require an additional payment for everyone else).

“Wrapping up the behemoth blog to drop later this week for some light reading for you folks. Just have to clear the reviews, add some pretty pictures, and get it all ready to post. No date/time yet, but Friday at the latest,” said the engagement coordinator at 343 Industries Tyler Davis.

The blog post “will cover many topics in regards to what the Publishing Team and partners are working on. This includes Reach in MCC and MCC on PC,” he added when prompted about the themes of the post on Twitter.
