Kojima being at The Game Awards is an annual practice that usuall doesn’t even need a confirm, but it looks like it’s not a given this time around.

Geoff Keighley quickly answered the call, with a rainbow which doesn’t look like the one of a person who’s sad about the absence of a friend, and then The Game Awards Twitter account added an even more suspicious emoji.

Our opinion is this is just another bluff by Kojima and Keighley who are trying and creating a bit of buzz and surprise about Death Stranding’s new reveal at the event.

The event is supposed to have the game and a new trailer with possibly a reference to a release date or window, likely planned for 2019.
