Today Call of Duty: Modern Warfare finally releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and as usual, it comes complete with lots of modes including a story mode where you get to travel across the world and take part into multiple special operations.

Thanks to PCGamesN, we now have an idea about how long the campaign is and how many story missions it features, in case you’re still interested in the single-player portion of Call of Duty games from Activision (and Infinity Ward, this year).

According to this source, the game can be completed in around five hours if you want to do it pretty fast, although an average estimation could be six hours on the standard difficulty. Higher difficulties could demand 7-8 hours, not more.

In case you’re wondering, the story includes a total of 14 missions, which is quite a lot if you look at them like this, but our source here notes that some of them are “very short,” while others can require up to half an hour to complete.

So, that’s it. The game comes in at the usual length you might anticipate from a Call of Duty main story and doesn’t reserve any particular surprise from what we learn. It’s worth noting that it also features multiplayer and co-op Spec Ops, in case you still want to play after that, of course.
