The Flame in the Flood is free with Humble Bundle for a limited time

Interested players can grab The Flame in the Flood on Humble Bundle until Saturday, May 12.

Humble Bundle is offering yet another game for free over at the Humble Store. This time around, The Flame in the Flood is available for a limited time until Saturday.

Originally released on PC, Mac, and Xbox One in February 2016, The Flame in the Flood is a roguelike survival game where players explore an apocalyptic American wilderness as a girl named Scout.

Alongside her dog Aesop, Scout ventures through an enormous river searching for supplies and resources throughout the abandoned backwaters of America. If players aren’t careful, Scout can easily die from hunger, thirst, or wild animals. The game uses a permadeath system too, so once Scout dies, it’s game over.

The Flame in the Flood has since been released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, however, the Humble Store’s giveaway only encompasses the game’s PC and Mac releases on Steam. To grab a key, simply head over to the Humble Store and add the game to your cart. Instead of paying $14.99, the entire game will be available in your Humble Bundle account for free.

In the meantime, the Humble War Gamez Bundle lets shoppers pick up to eight different war-themed games and DLC packs for just $10. Unlike this weekend’s giveaway, that deal lasts until May 22, so gamers have plenty of time to decide if they want to buy the pack. Otherwise, The Flame in the Flood’s sale lasts until Saturday, May 12 at 12pm CT. After which, the game will revert back to $14.99 for sale.
